Shamun Khan, a professional mechanic, created a world record of dismantling and assembling a bike in record timeThis one goes purely for the bike enthusiasts. Organized by Bosch in a one of its kind of an event, Shamun Khan got himself mentioned in Limca Book of Records. A mechanic by profession, he disassembled and then re-assembled a Hero Honda CD 100 deluxe bike in 49 minutes and 13 seconds. Also present at the occasion were V V R Murty, Marketing Manager, Limca Book of Records and Vijay Pandey, Vice President, (India and SAARC region), Bosch Power Tools. Delhi based, Khan has an experience of 23 years of service in the automotive field. His passion for bikes made him start at an early age of 12 years. This feat was his first attempt at making a record and he has dismantled a bike to bare minimal parts for the first time. It is believed that Khan’s achievement will be seen as a benchmark for anybody who attempts to enter the Limca Records with a similar feat. Words: Amit Panday |
